This section describes basic map functions.
The toolbar of the ‘map’ sub-tab under the ‘initial state’ tab:

In RegWise you select what simulation result to look at in the Result field.
Select this tool to zoom in by clicking on the map. |

Select this tool to zoom out by clicking on the map. |

The map under the Initial State tab shows all selected stands when choosing this tool. The map in the result view shows all stands that were included in an optimization or simulation. |

Chose this tool to move the map horizontally or vertically. Click on the map and keep the mouse button down while you pan. |

Click on a stand polygon in the map to display general information about the stand. |

Tool to select one or more stands within a rectangle that you draw with the tool. |

Show/Hide stand ID labels on map. |

Show the window where you create and select map themes. |

With this tool you can step forward and backward among planning periods. If period midpoints are used (default), the first actual harvest period is period 1 (year 2.5 when using five-year periods). Some treatments can be simulated in year 0, such as planting of existing bare land and removal of existing seed trees. |

Select web map service. To change the transparency, right-click the service in the Layers-windows and select Properties |
